From November 6 through November 16, Pakachoag Church will be distributing bags to collect non-perishable food donations to help Auburn Youth and Family Services provide food for local families during the holiday season.
Each bag comes with a list of requested items that are most helpful for families in need. Our hope for this project is to provide a community service activity that is accessible to people of all ages, especially families who would like to get their young children involved.
How to participate:
- PICK UP YOUR BAG at the church from the church office Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- FILL YOUR BAG with items from the recommended list. If you have young children, bring them with you to the store, and encourage them to help with selecting items to place into the bag.
- RETURN YOUR BAG to the church, either at our Service of Thanksgiving on Sunday, November 20 at 10 a.m. to celebrate the joy of giving and help sort the items for delivery to the AYFS food pantry, or simply drop off your filled bag at the church office no later than Friday, November 18. The office is open Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
