Our Adult Choir

Pakachoag Church Choir

The purpose of the Pakachoag Church Choir is to perform most weekly services on Sundays at 10:00 am, being part of the life and worship of the church. Membership in the choir is available to singers with a commitment to the choir’s schedule and love for music.

Auditions

Auditions are completely painless by singing some easy warm-up (scales) to demonstrate range and pitch-matching. It is not necessary to prepare anything. For additional information please contact the Music Director, Paulo Gomes at padew25@charter.net or contact the church office at (508) 755-8718..

Rehearsals

Rehearsals will be held on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the choir room at Pakachoag Church.  Each Sunday the choir will meet before the service, at 9:30 a.m., to warm-up and refine the Anthem of the day.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the choir, contact Mr. Gomes at (508) 755-8718.

Dobson Organ

In March of 1997, we dedicated a new mechanical action pipe organ built by Dobson Organ Builders, Ltd. Featured on the cover of The American Organist magazine, this instrument is already nationally recognized and should prove to be a rich addition to the array of fine organs located in the Worcester area.
