Announcing a new course beginning on January 24 that will cover the basics of digital photography as an introduction for beginners or refresher for more experienced photographers.

$85 per person for six two-hour sessions

Class Description
The course is designed for the beginning photographer but will also serve as a refresher for photographers who need more information on the covered core subjects. The first five nights will have an assignment that will be projected and viewed at the next class.

Subject Matter
Metering and Exposure; Basic Camera Settings; Digital Photography History; File Formats for Digital Images; Camera Formats; White Balance & Histograms; Optics, Focus & Depth of Field; Using Flash; Composition & Post Production with Photoshop Elements.


About the Instructor
John Anderson has enjoyed photography for over 40 years and has worked in the field since graduating from Hallmark Institute of Photography in 1984. In addition to owning and operating a commercial advertising studio for over 20 years, he has worked as a forensic photographer and photojournalist. His images are seen many times a week in Auburnmassdaily.com.
